    .

Was it "Thrilla" or "Why don't we do it in the road" that the Rev. Al was grinding to ???

I thought this was supposed to be a serious event, remembering a man who just passed away?? Everybody I've seen, from Larry King to Al Sharpie Sharpton are treating this as just another free lunch holiday, another way to grab some ratings and/or swag.

Some people are just beyond the boundaries of good taste. Unbelievable.

And what about those Irish with their wakes? Is that tasteless, too?

Each culture honors its dead in its own way, and celebrating the life of Michael Jackson is not doing him a dishonor.

It is too bad that we have to turn to the media in Europe to get the
    real story on Michael Jackson.

The media in the US, will not even address the history of Michael's
    questionable past.

There is a lot more to Michael than his music and dance.

How did the children know it was bedtime at the Neverland ranch????
When the big hand meets the little hand.

Dated a 100% Irish girl as a teenager ... for a few years.
Well ... coming from an Italian the world is ending type of funerals ... WOW!!!

With all due respect to all nationalities ... i love how the irish do it.
They celebrate the life that was lived and the friends made and the loved ones loved.
They shed tears like the rest of us but it's that celebration of a good life lived that I had fond affection for.
To this day ... I'd rather look at the life lived than mourn the life that's gone.
death happens, it's unavoidable and remembrances of how it was lived are the best IMO.

I've always thought him a weirdo but I never put him in the Ped category.
Eventually, people get older and they remember what happened and they reveal it.
Nobody has yet come forward to say they were molested by him.
Yuri Gellar asked him under hypnosis and Mike told him no ... he never did any of it.
as far as he was gay ... well ... like always IMO that was his business not mine.
I don't worship or idolize him ... I loved much of his music.
I'd like to remember him for his music and charity ... the rest is just media crapola.

The Irish treat it as a celebration of the departed's life getting in touch with friends and family who are all connected by the deceased, it's a party but it's a party that is meant to bring out the goodness in everyone's spirit in their darkest hour.

What is being done by the people around Michael is nothing like that- it's vultures circling the prey hoping to get their faces on TV to get themselves a new job...or worse like his father hawking his recording label being interviewed about his son. There is no bringing together of friends and family, the only thing being brought together is his past troubles and struggles.

Twas the night that Paddy Murphy died
Twas a night I'll Never forget
All the boys were rolling drunk
    Some ain't sober yet

Mrs Murphy sat in the corner
    Pouring out her grief
    While Kelly and his pals
    The dirty rotten thief
    Into the anti room
And a bottle of whiskey stole
They put the bottle on the corpse
    To keep the liqour cold

Never known the Irish to grind much at all, wake or no wake.

In any case, this whole Michael Jacko thing is just one big sex/drugs/& rock'n roll orgy. Nothing more, nothing less.

Jesse Jackson was conferring with Hugh at the Playboy mansion .....

Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Farsi, (North Korean???) ..... you're on the way.

When I was young after my grandmother died and was buried, we all went to a big restaurant and had a huge meal.. everyone was laughing and drinking.. took a long time to figure that one out, thought that everyone should be sad and could not understand how anyone could laugh...

In retrospect it was a good thing we did that as it taught me much about life and death...

    Thriller was a Jackson tune.
Why don't we do it in the road is a Beatles tune.
    How old ARE you? LOL!

Michael Jackson, the Jackson Family, everybody and everything ever connected with the creep is nothing but a "Cesspool Freak Show"

The Michael Jackson Funeral will be a "Roman Circus" Geraldo will be having orgasms for months just thinking about it, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of his junkie groupies engage in "live sex" right beside the coffin while the onlookers cheer and tap dance.

Good. That's one reason why I try to phrase things in the form of a question.
That, and I used to watch a lot of Jeopardy at the bar after work.
