If not - go looking for her.......with a loaded gun and plenty of ammunition in the parking lot of an abortion clinic.

Then, when questioned, forget her address, her phone number, the fact that she she's not really your girlfriend at all and the internet dating site you met her on.

    Act surprised.

A security guard at a St. Paul Planned Parenthood clinic called the cops last week after he spotted a Republican state lawmaker with a loaded gun in the parking lot. But the pol says he was only "checking on" his online girlfriend, who he thought may be on a date with another man -- a claim police have not been able to corroborate because the man did not have a phone number or address for the woman.

According to the police report, a security guard reported the man, Rep. Tom Hackbarth, after he saw him get out of a pickup truck in the parking lot with a loaded gun in a hip holster. The guard saw him walk into an alley near the clinic.

When police came, they handcuffed him and took his gun, which he has a concealed carry permit for. Hackbarth claimed he didn't realize he was in the Planned Parenthood parking lot, according to the police report. He said he was in the neighborhood looking for his girlfriend, a woman he said he had met online a few months before and had been on a couple dates with.

Lots of people carry guns; that's a silly thing to get upset over.

And internet dating is pretty mainstream now... unless you're so sheltered as to think it's not?

So the police are now in on your anti-Christian, pro-Muslim conspiracies, Harry?

    ------

This guy isn't a terrorist. He is pathetic, though. He's stalking a woman he had coffee with and calls her his girlfriend.

I think its really humorous when a post is defended by the "law of politics". A politician commits a heinous act, lets say dresses up as a Nazi in a SS uniform. Wait, lets see what party he belongs to before we judge................Republican. Nothing wrong with that, done in the movies all the time.
Politician found with loaded gun at an abortion clinic with excuse of looking for his on-line girlfriend......................Republican. Nothing wrong with that, had a permit and on-line dating is popular. To be fair, happens with Democratic politicians also, just not lately.

Guy has a permit to carry a concealed weapon ... this is such a non story.

This thread is reaching for a point that does not exist ... but with luck a circle jerk might find the point soon.

    "Where's the point arrow?"
    "it's on our heads Oblio"
    "oh"

Is that guy 15, or 58? What a loon. He sounds like a teenager, waiting in a random neighborhood looking for some girl he barely knows, cuz he "loves" her. Seriously dude, get a life. He doesn't know her name, her number, or where she lives, but he's checking in on her to make sure she's ok. Say what? That story has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese. Either he's a certifiable fatal attraction, or he's lying his arse off about something. Wierdo.

With all that being said, he had a license for the gun, so it's really a non story that he had it on him. I wouldn't doubt that he had it on him for a particular reason, but who knows for sure. Lots of my friends have licenses to carry, and do. All this guy is guilty of, is being real creepy, and juvenile. He seriously sounds like a high school kid with his story.

Yeah, that's true....and just because you're in Planned Parenthood parking lot in a strange neighborhood with loads of extra ammunition, maps and binoculars in your car and your story is you're "checking up" on your girlfriend's whereabouts because you think she lied to you and your "girlfriend" isn't really your "girlfriend," she's someone you had coffee with a time or two and you don't know where she lives or what her address is doesn't mean you're a stalker - it just means you're acting like you're a stalker.

I think that most people know the name of the dating site they're using, don't you?
