collie played well w peyton...got drilled a few times...hope the amendola hit doesn't crimp his play

he had a nice slice up the middle in the 4th...too bad he wasn't in on more plays

he can deff help...but 1 more concussion..his career is over

we lost mike wright to dem too...

we've lost a bunch of guys...but we're 5-1 and mofo's are healing

Already contributed to one win. When healthy he seems like the type of reciever that can succeed with Brady. Him and Edelman can lessen the blow of DA who I dunno if we'll ever see, but unfortunately Edelman looks banged up again and Collie himself is obviously not very durable.

they are hot slot guys....we need Dobson and thomkins to make more plays...they catch the ball like high school players...lets go!

collie has the potential...played well w/ manning and is a smart cat...he's been knocked out a coupla times before and the latest hit on danny a was aweful....he got knocked the f-out.

Yeah the rooks holding onto the ball would make a world of a difference in this offense. Until then DA will be missed as an outside threat, we are fine in the slot though as long as one of these are healthy.

Like I said when the signing was made a week or so ago--the move came down to Collie vs Josh Boyce, and apparently Belichick chose Austin Collie since Boyce was once again inactive.

It was obvious that out of Thompkins, Dobson, Edelman, and Amendola--as soon as one went down we'd need either Collie or Boyce, and Boyce has obviously been behind so far in attempting to learn the offense.

Yeah, I have no problem with adding another short/intermediate passing threat in Collie to give Brady an option. After all, that has been one of our biggest positives in the past, and the options are somewhat limited at the moment.

As far as Amendola's injury--at least it isn't something that should keep him out for a long period of time. I'm not meaning to minimize the severe hit that he took, but he was able to walk off the field etc. Hopefully he only misses next week's game at worst.

Truthfully, Collie looked pretty sharp for a guy who has just come in off the couch. This could have a touch of Jabar Gaffney about it if Collie can retain his health. The fourth down pick up was spot on by way of design, timing and execution between Brady and Collie.

Danny suffered a tough hit, can't blame him for going down whatever his health issues are. Fortunately Edeaman and Collie can suffice. KT and Dobson just gotta keep improving. They'll be very effective once they shake their 'dropsies'.

Austin collie could be a great slot receiver option if he doesn't get hit hard.

Thompkins
danny amendola
dobson
julien
and now collie.

This could be a big pick up going forward.

All Austin Collie has to do is learn from Lloyd. Don't fight for too much YAC, get down if you are in the middle. Brady has to protect him as he will dive for any ball.
There is a way to keep him from the kind of hits the Saints will deliver. Amendola was unlucky to be on the end of that hit. If it was on Collie, it would have been disastrous.

Amendola could have protected himself on that play. He should take som tips from wes (drop to the ground when a defender sees me) welker.

Yeah Welker sucked, he was a *****.

The level of ignorance from some people who claim to be Patriots fans is nothing short of astounding.

What does surrendering yourself have to do with skill level?

Any real patriots fan knows wes surrendered himself before contact WHEN HE HAD THE CHANCE TO.

You should be astounded by your own ignorance.

he's a smart instinctive player, and those kind of Wide receivers tend to excel in this offense rather quickly. plus, Brady's bread and butter are those short intermediate throws.
