I think if Dowling doesn't get hurt, the Pats don't get Talib. Either way, my sense from Reiss — who has been wrong on these things before ("Taylor price's breakout week") — is that the Pats are fairly high on Dowling.

Reading between the lines, sounds like the hip is still going to be an issue, but he's pushing through.
