What this list makes pretty clear is that the Pats don't take a lot of risk in FA, and don't make very many, if any, expensive mistakes in FA. Maybe with three in five years, there's a lesson to be learned there.

Reiss' Pieces.

No real surpirses there, all low priced JAGs. Aside from Colvin and Harrison, the main difference between the "good" list and the "bad" list is that the players worked out. They majority players in both lists were picked up for modest money, so fit the system and excelled and some didn't.

Almost like a mathematical challenge (please god, no math), I wonder if the hit rate is 30%, 40%, 50%...

The exceptions are that when they did pay mid-tier to top-end money (Colvin & Harrison) the players worked out. This makes sense for a couple of reasons:
1) More dilligence will be done with higher priced signings
2) Higher priced signings are generally better players and should have a higher hit rate

Less than 4 days to free agency... take to get all excited, just to wait, and wait, and wait... refresh... refresh... refresh... refresh..

Refresh at speed and wait forever :(

Hayes had 12 catches while he was here? OMG, he played that much?
