    Quote:
Brady has great poker walk. W/ media surrounding, leaves locker room walking fine. Mins later, w/ media around Welker, Brady limps back in.

Brady is the anti-Favre. But we already knew that I guess.

Great. Can't we just have a year where Brady remains healthy the whole way through? Mankins is back not a moment too soon, I guess. I just hope that this isn't one of several injuries that will eventually catch up with him ala 2009.

I wonder when did this leg injury occur.

Unless Brady and the offense change their style of play, he's always going to be taking hits.

This isn't like the Colts offense where Manning has the ball out of his hands before a defender can even wave at him. I hate to admit it, but Manning may go his entire career without missing a game to injury, and may have a longer career than Brady due to how little the guy gets hit. (I mean, when Manning is faced with the possibility of taking a big hit, the guy even dives to the ground in fetal position, for God's sake)

Contrast that to Brady, who after getting driven to the ground with a 300 pound Randy Starks driving his helmet through Brady's 3 broken ribs, as he throws a 60 yard TD pass to Moss, just runs into the locker room, readjusts his equipment, probably gets shot up with something again, comes out and plays some more.

I think it has to do with a few things. The first is an offensive line that, like any, has a tendency to miss blocks from time to time. Compound that with how complicated our offense is and how long it's taking our receivers to get open, for the most part, and the fact that Brady is relatively immobile, and you get a quarterback that's taking quite a few hits.

I agree, I think the complexity of our offense has the most to do with it.

Immobile, maybe, but he does have as good a pocket presence as any QB ever. Often that means he avoids one hit just to take another, but he's gotten the ball out of his hands in the process, at least.

My bet is this injury happened during the Chargers game, and has since been re-aggravated. The times when he was sacked during that game he was brought down, it was by his ankles, so it makes sense.

It's fake. BB and TFB are setting the Steelers up.
I believe Admiral Akbar says it best...

    Yep.

I remember the last time BB and Brady pulled this trick. They had him pretending to have an injured ankle before Super Bowl Fort....wait, forget it.

Tom Brady Limping Noticeably Due to Apparent Right Foot Injury - New England Patriots - NESN.com

And we question why Belichick prefers to limit media access or essentially says nothing when asked about injuries?

Howe has done a great job - check out his scouting report for the Steelers' game, for example - but after revealing this information I'm going to guess he won't be getting any inside scoops from BB or anyone else associated with the Pats.

Is it possible for him to get a shot of some sorts to help ease the pain? I just got in from work to read about the news and am surprised there is only 2 pages in this thread so far.

This is a set up to suck in the Steelers blitz and off Brady scrambles for a 53 yard running touchdown.
