Reiss: BB: "Bruschi has broken wrist, won't play in preseason"

The PFW in Progress guys are questoning why BB let out this information, following up on Greenberg's question today. They said if Stacey James only told Reiss about Belichick's "statement," that's unprofessional. They're also wondering why the Pats are suddenly talking about injuries.

That was clearly said tongue-in-cheek.

I hope so. Otherwise, I fear for the poor soul's sanity.

Vrabel - Beisel - Gardner - Colvin
Almost back to Square 1.
And Beisel's not even on the field now...and no Willie Mac.

cstjohn17 is right...

"Bartender, another double-shot of the you-know-what, please. And keep the pitcher handy."

Okay the bad: The Beisel/Bruschi chemistry is delayed. Vrabel may wind up inside to start the season, and TBC & Co. need to set the edge.
The good: Gardner gets a longer look in pre-season, as does Roach. Not to mention TBC & Co. outside. I'd rather do assessments early when it doesn't count.
The FA options: Maybe Posey pops up on radar to backstop the OLB slot after all.
Just remember: Bruschi is coming back, and "Vince" is coming with him.
I'm dry, who has the sugar free kool-aid?
