What is the deal with the GOP and Government regulations. Are they for or against them?

Kansas passed a similar bill earlier this year but that has been blocked by a judge (for now).

What's biblical about the length of your hallways or the amount of parking spaces available?

Besides, we're talking about micro-regulating what a business establishment must and must not do - not Jesus.

That's because you don't like being outmaneuvered in your game.

If its going to regulate abortions, voting, or assisted suicide, republicans are all for red tape.

Considering the same people who voted for "regulations" like these were the same people who, just a few days ago, cheered for the death penalty and who shouted, "Yes," and "Yeah," when asked if a 39 year old man should be allowed to die solely because he did not have insurance I'd say that the idea that their purpose is to prevent people from being killed is pretty bogus.

If you believe in preserving life you do NOT cheer for death - nor do you pass regulations which will cause more death - and when your "regulations" make it impossible for a clinic who supplies, not only abortions, but mammograms, uterine cancer screenings, prostrate exams, pre-natal care and other life-saving medical assistance to people who would otherwise be unable to afford such care to continue doing so you are, in effect, sentencing thousands of already living people to deaths which you could have prevented had you chosen some other way to achieve your stated goal.

Man, if I was in that audience, I'd have been tempted to punch someone in the mouth for being so stupid. Hopefully, those who shouted "Yeah!" don't have health insurance!:D

Then you must rabidly support OSHA and EPA regulations. Or are fetuses all you care about?

Using Gainzo as the straw man. Good tactic. Too bad this isn't about abortion as much as it's about government regulation and hypocricy.

It's fun seeing liberals cry like little children when they get a good dose of their own medicine.

What do you mean? Is this "medicine" good one way or another in your opinion? By that I'm referring to government regulation.

I don't understand precisely what you're asking me here, but let's just say I love seeing republicans outmaneuvering the dems at their own game. So I guess that would qualify it as "good" in my opinion.

All this whining about hypocrisy is silly. It isn't hypocrisy to support certain types of regulations and oppose others.

It is when you claim that you're "anti-regulation" or for "small government" instead of just admitting that you're just like the other guys and picking and choosing. Or maybe it's just lying.

    either way...
