Question: outside of McVeigh, when was the last terror attack/attempt that happened in the US that wasn't related to Islam? Only thing I can think of is maybe Koresh in Waco... but that was more contained to those followers as opposed to something on the general public.

Liberals have a strange Love Affair going with Islam so there won't be much action on this thread.

    Eric Rudolph
Some greeks lobbed a grenade against our consulate in Athens in 2007
    Westroad Malls Shooting in 2007
Disrupted the Hutaree Movement in '09

Would not include the Waco Incident in this discussion.. that was just a huge cluser..fck by Clinton and Reno..

Outside of 9/11, what terror attacks are you thinking of that were related to Islam? And do you think that it's possible that they're related to our wars against Iraq and Afghanistan? In other words, if we weren't at war, possibly those few other attacks would not have occurred. And do you think it's possible that those other attacks were individual acts, not really much different that serial killing?

If you're thinking of overseas terror attacks, then I suppose you can look at the Basque Separatists, FARC, IRA, etc.

Ot: aren't the basque separatists generally Muslims? (no idea whether that factors into their movement)

    How do you define terrorism?

There was the guy who flew the plane into the IRS building in Texas. The anthrax mailings. Before that, the Unabomber.

    No, they're nominally Catholic, but I don't think they're a religious group.

There's been thousands of more drug crimes committed on passenger airplanes by way of smuggling. The drug trade has done vastly more damage to America than 1000 Al Qaedas. So why don't we 'profile' all Hispanic people traveling from Central or South America?

Chico...... You use to post about the rights love affair with Islam.
Now you call the right anti-Islam bigots.

    What's up with that?

One of my fave songs of his is "me and Paul", Paul is his long time drummer...

Willie is Willie and probably will never change, 77 years old.. he is the co-chair of the NORML advisory board, and a very easy mark. One might think that he "carries" pretty consistently.

He pulled over that time outside of Waco to sleep it off in his Mercedes. Got busted, then I'm sure that officer got reamed. You don't mess with Willie in Texas.
There was a great article, a reporter interviewed him on his bus in New Jersey and became disoriented from all the smoke. Someone asked Willie's publicist if that really happened. The response was something like, could have happened...........

Any effort by any aspect of our law enforcement to arrest pot smokers is a waste of money...tax-payer's money!

Any amount should be legal. If I or Willie want to carry around 20 lbs. of the stuff, it shouldn't be a problem.

    Make the sh1t legal asap!

That makes absolutely no sense.. reminds me of the farcical, but successful attempt of the government to jail Tommy Chong for possession of "paraphenalia", but somehow this will turn into something partisan and another classic left/right issue. Jailing a 77 year old man, is costly to the taxpayers, pretty confident there will be associated medical costs due to his age and will solve nothing.. he will not stop toking up and his message about M will resonate amongst the masses, turning him into even more of a folk hero than he already is.
