Great job today by Beckett after he got by that first inning he was good.

Lowell was 4-4 with 3 doubles. Wow.
Youkilis made an offensive impact hitting leadoff and in the field.
Gonzales made a tremendous play for a double play.
Foulke looked fine until WMP knocked the ball off his glove and into the dugout for a HR.
Papelbon is just being Papelbon. 4th save.

    Sox are 6-1.

So far...the Beckett/Lowell deal looks to be a steal.

On the other hand...Bronson for WMP...not looking so good.

This new infield is a defensive dynamo.

Prior to last night's game the ERA of the starting pitching was 1.98. Incredible!

I cannot wait until the day Papelbon is a starter.

It is early, but so far this is a good team.
