Re: Predict Ocho Cinco 2011 stats

78 catches
960 yards
7 touchdowns

Re: Predict Ocho Cinco 2011 stats

Ocho is not a younger Randy Moss or even close to Moss in production

I say no chance with the receiving arsenal does he get even a sniff of 1,000 yards

He will be the Stallworth or Gaffney version of 07

46 Catches 645 Yards 6TDs (Ocho will ask for the ball deep in the red zone because he loves to showboat when he scores, thus I will give him a generous 6 scores)

My prediction?

Pats have 6 players with 40 or more receptions. (league 1st?)

Gronkowski, Ocho, Welker, Hernandez, Branch, Woodhead

And I wouldn't be surprised to see Brady complete over 420 passes this year.

75 Rec.
1,150 yards.
8 TDs.

Remember he has 2 games vs revis 1 on 1 kinda lofty stats considering those games most likely just couple of catches.

I don't see 500 points scored or more than 4,000 yards passing, even if your prediction comes true.

I think we may have the best backfield of any Belichick team in the past decade...Ripley and Vereen could be a special duo...without counting the others and this team will be running more than ever IMO

Re: Predict Ocho Cinco 2011 stats

The one thing different then Moss is that he can still get separation and is a better route runner then Moss.Moss hasnt adjusted to being a wr over his prime.

I was with you until that 420 passes completed thing. Does anyone really expect Brady to throw close to 600 passes when he didn't even throw 500 last year? I don't, what with all the RBs we've invested in. 420+ completions has never really meant a particularly successful season, either. It's only happened three times (Brees in 07 and 10, Manning in 10), and they were all symptoms of problematic offensive inefficiencies (very poor run game, high TO rate, very low YPA).

Unless Brady's going to complete above 80% of his passes, 420 completions seems a little much. I don't think Brady will throw all that much more than 500 passes, so that only leaves so many balls for Chad to catch. I'm going to guess somewhere around 900 yds and 9 tds.
