I guess you primary point is that we don't need Branch.

As far as the new receiver goes, it seems to me the first question would be how many yards do you expect the Pats to throw for, and then the second question would be what portion of that does #85 get?more, less, or about the same?

Last year the Pats threw for 4022 yards; Brady for the 3900 and Hoyer for 122. Do we expect

My guess would be slightly less with more yardage on the ground, but for argument sake let's say it's still about 4000 yards.

How does that get split up?

An off the cuff guess:

500 - Ochocinco
800 - Welker
600 - Gronkowski
700 - Hernandez
300 - Tate
300 - Price
200 - Edelman
600 - all the running backs

I think the most important stat for Haynesworth will be the % of snaps he plays. If he's in there for at least 50% of the snaps we will be in great shape. I'm not sure right now we can measure his play by tackles or sacks ... depends on his role really. If he is more than a 3rd down player for us that will be great.

69 catches for 980 yards and 5 TDs. I think OchoCinco will be a great addition, but I think there are too many offensive weapons for him to get much over 1,000 yards. He is not a consistent deep threat to get a lot of yards.

I am gonna say 78 rec for 979 yards and 10 tds.I think the ball will be spread around alot.

True, but he's still the projected #1 WR in a pass-happy offense.

This is a tough one..he will be productive, but the Brady is loaded with weapons.

Anyway, I say 80 Catches, 1039 yards and 10 TD..with most of that coming in the first half of the season.

He'll be dangerous, but there are a lot of weapons. Gronk will lead the team in receiving TDs once again.
