Did anyone catch it this week? I caught the end of it last night and in his commentary Gumbel complains that the Winter Olympics are, "about as white as a GOP convention", nice huh. Coming from a man who belongs to the exclusive Westchester Country Club of which gladly serves as the club's "token" and yet they continue to exclude all Jews. (and Bill Clinton)

It's his show and he can say what he wants, but imagine if Bob Costas on his show stated that he didn't like watching the NBA because the NBA is as black as a NAACP convention. He would be out of work in less than a week.

Lol, but it IS hard to argue with him factually. I bet if you took, as a percentage, the number of white people at the Olympics and at a GOP convention, they'd be pretty equal.

Doesn't everyone owe Rush an apology over this now? Maybe, just maybe McNabb isn't that good.

Gumbel The "Rectum Hole", his ex wife said he is always puting down the white people but he can't keep his hands off their women.

Most Blacks are Racist anyway, if they can talk about my people I can damn well talk about their's.
You liberal slobber's don't like it, tough sh!t.

Why is it that they always have to bring up the color thing, when any of them are being interviewd on TV two minutes after they are introduced they are talking about or whining about "being black"

Harry, this is a warning. Your post is racist, and a complaint has been made by a regular member of patsfans.com (who seldom posts here and is not a liberal). Your post is such that we will have to consider suspending you.

No problem with that; it's accurate.

"Most blacks are racist" is a generality, typically characterized as a stereotype. I strongly disagree with the allegation and do not approve, but then I disagree with Patters et. al.'s repeated stereotypes of Republicans, conservatives and others with whom they post sneeringly condescending threads stereotyping and denigrating those folks.

Several posts have been made here stereotyping Republicans, conservatives, Bush supporters whatever as hating or being bigoted towards black folk.

    No admonitions posted.

    What hypocracy.

    Look in a mirror.

That's not me talking, thats them talking, they always say that.

Moses said it too, "Let My People Go"

Why is it that certain things are only "Racist" when the "bad white" man says it when a "minortity" says the exact same thing it isn't even noticed?

Why is it permissable in Movies and in the so called "Music" of the minority to call my people "White Mother F--kers", imagine the outrage if this practice were reversed and "Merle Haggard" sang a song about you know what.
(I don't even dare say it) I may go to hell if I do.

Harry's whole post is a mess, though the racism is the most serious offense.

Prejudice against a philosophy is far more constructive than prejudice against an attribute which a person has no control over. When someone calls liberals "troop killers" or conservatives "fascists" it's obviously going overboard, but it is also part of a humanizing dialogue that is filled with silly generalizations, or smack talk.

The important thing to remember is that the moderators are trying to protect patsfans.com. We don't want to post things that are likely to alienate visitors to the political forum who are primarily Pats fans.

    Can't help you there.

But the important thing to remember is that the moderators try to act in the interest of patsfans.com, while keeping the forum pretty loose.

So by your previous post you're stating that blacks can't help that they're racist, so saying such is verboten? Un-fraking believable.

    Liberal logic is an oxymoron.
