Proposal would put Ronald Reagan's face on the $50 bill - latimes.com
This is a joke, right?
I like Reagan. But there's no need for this. Leave the $50 bill the way it is.
I think he deserves to be on the $10,000.
Since his entire presidency, and long lasting policy of trickle down only really benefited the upper class, it should be fitting that only the people who can afford a 10,000 bill should see him.
On a related note, for every $50 Reagan Bill you spend, eventually $0.80 will make it down to the middle class.
Did LA Times source this out from "The Onion"?
After a year of Obama I think Reagan belongs on
Yeah I say leave the 50 alone.
uh oh, you mean they're not real? I just had a guy in the parkng lot break a hundred for me and he gave me two of them
If we do that then we'll need a woman, a black and a latino on a bill ....
I like it. Grant was a barely competent General that relied on superior numbers, and a pretty poor President. Bring on Ronnie!
It does remind me that my HS football coach used to let us get out of sprints once or twice a season if one of our academically challenged teammates could answer the trivia question "who is buried in Grant's tomb?" Sadly we only got out of sprints about 1/2 the time.
Sometimes I wonder if your just an automated program designed to post on message boards...

Currently on the $10G is Sam Chase. Pretty cool guy. Sorta like a Teabagger of the left. MUCH more an important American than Reagan.
Salmon P. Chase - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Read more on Chase. He was not only considered a "leftist", but he defended escaped slaves who made it to free states and the Northwest Territories (now midwest).
He argued that the federal government was not empowered by the Constitution to create slavery anywhere, and that when a slave leaves the jurisdiction of a state where slavery is legal, he ceases to be a slave, because he continues to be a man and leaves behind him the law that made him a slave.
So basically he was for states rights which led him to form the REPUBLICAN PARTY! Pretty cool.
Brilliant... absolutely brilliant..
Without regard he should be put on the $1.00 dollar bill, as that is the ultimate "trickle down".. every day go to my mailbox to see if any money he promised has trickled down to me.. not yet, but still wishing and hoping..
He will be put on the Presidential Dollar Coin in about 2016
I was living like a king when Ronnie was running the show...........:rocker:
I was to until the vodoo economics came home to roost...It was all an illusion. :singing:
Most who worked, did. It is the losers of the 80's who complain about Regan. Them and the liberals and faux-libertarians.
I'd love to see it, just to piss off those above.
Revisionist historians make me laugh.
Any specifics??? That makes a whole lot of sense, want something to happen to piss someone off..
Leave the $50 alone. I wouldn't be totally opposed to it, but I'd much prefer it's left as is.
