In his post game presser he briefly mentioned 2 ints called back and said that can't happen in a playoff game. Was he complaining about the refs or lamenting that his team made the costly penalties.

He then went on to talk about 17 year old that he had promised to see after the game, but he died. It showed a softer side to Ray Lewis.

Also cudos to Jon Harbaugh for a very gracious post game interview after loss. I expected worse, but was surprised and impressed with him.

The second pick Brady just threw up there because he saw the offsides lol

The first Int was directly cause by the penalty, and the second one Brady knew it was a free play so he threw it up. Both correct calls and really the only options for the refs.

Both those penalties were correctly called. Brady probably wouldn't have thrown that pick on the offsides call, but he threw caution into the wind know the worst that could have happened was the Pats get five yards and replay the down. The other pick, it looked pretty clear that Pollard threw an armbar on Welker knocking him off his route. Both were good calls.

Sounds to me like he was talking more about his teammates making crucial mistakes. However, on the off chance that he was referring to the refs making bad calls, well ray lewis, you shouldn't have murdered 2 people and maybe more things would go your way.

There was also complaining already about one of the other receivers being interfered with on the same play as the Evans drop. Don't mention Webb held Edelman for ten yards on the pick he had or that they could have called offensive holding against whoever was "blocking" Wilfork or Anderson nearly every play. The refs if nothing else were consistent. They called nothing. If they called a close game the Ravens wouldn't have faired as well.

I saw a lot of holding both on the o-line and coverage by both teams. For the most part, the refs kept their flags in their pockets. The Ravens have no reason to complain because the refs called the game the way that it benefitted the Ravens more than the Pats because they allowed a lot of physicality.

You know what? I respect Ray Lewis as a player. I really do. But you LOST. THE. *******. GAME. Take your lumps and STFU!

Or else, don't. Let it dwell on you, forever. Let it give you nightmares. If it's not within you to watch the replays and see that they were legitimately called fouls, then go ahead and brood over it for the rest of your lives. After all, it's not like it's the first time that you've pointed fingers elsewhere after a loss, eh?

He's a great player, but as I noted in another thread yesterday, they always blame the refs when they lose. Always. It's impossible for them to lose graciously.

Ray is going to be 38 when the 2012 season arrives

Either he retires or Baltimore is going to have to have the balls to tell Ray that he is no longer a starter and more of a situational player....the man has slowed to a crawl from what I saw today in several plays.....its time for him to retire and wait for the first ballot HOF to call.

Both flags were thrown before the interceptions occurred so there is nothing for anyone to complain about.

I'm not a fan of ticky tack DB penalties, but attempting to clothesline the WR has been a penalty for decades.

    Suck it, Ray...

Actually he wasnt complaining and gave a real classy post game interview. He gave all credit to the pats and also said he will take this loss like a man but at the end of the day its just a game.

Lewis was awful today. He's got nothing left. Great career, but he stuck around too long.

It's because he wasn't. He gave all the credit to the pats and said someone had to win. Guess the op just wanted to stir up some drama....:bricks:

The only thing they really call consistently is the offsides.

I don't know if he's complaining or not, but either way, I wish he'd just shut up.

    Lighten up,

I wasn't making light of the kid's death, I was referring to Ray being a murderer.

I didn't get the feeling he was complaining at all. I actually came impressed with him. I thought he gracious towards the Pats, and the rest of his team. He ending the conference talking about the perspective of this game in light of a child he was mentoring dying of cancer. It was actually an awsome post game presser. It really was.

I don't think he's complaining about the refs, just saying that you can't commit penalties like that. Both calls were legit.

I think I'd have puked if Bernard Pollard made a pick then caused another pick to ultimately end our season.
