I don't know what's more troubling, threads like this increasingly permeating this site or the concept that the people starting them actually have jobs...

I always thought the forum rule was: when in doubt start a poll. This is way off the crazy train, starting a list, from ESPN no less.

Love: Brady
Like: Brees, Cassel, Newton
Meh: The good Manning, Rodgers, Stafford
Ugh: All others
Greatly dislike: Vick, Sanchez, Rapethisberger, Tebow
Hate: The bad Manning

Love -Tom Brady
Don't care- 30 other qbs
Hate, openly rooting for career ending injury, still pissed his career wasnt ruined by motorcycle accidents/rape cases- the fatass in pittsburgh

1. Most hated:

Phillip Rivers, HATE THIS GUY

2. Second Most Hated:

Peyton Manning.
(I find his personality smug and whiny. And while people think he's a good guy generally, you'll find articles about his awful behavior here and there that shows he's the prototypical spoiled jock. He was whining in those home videos when he was 7).

3. Arrogant Tools

Matthew Stafford (He is Favre-ish with his primadonna airs.)

Drew Brees (Nothing really objectionable about his personality but he just seems very ego-driven [I thought that before this week] and I kind of feel sorry for him because his father is another Marinovich type, but this Frankenstein Dad succeeded in creating his monster.)

4. Sourpuss

If Bill Belichick coached Jay Cutler, the fanbase would be full of people offing themselves. Doom x 2.

5. Mr. Hyde

Roethlisberger. Good guy on the football field, a leader. Major creep off the field.

6. Inflated Sense of Worth Based on Safety of Being in Group/Gang

I don't think there's really anything wrong with Mark Sanchez (other than dating 17 year olds) but listening to him talk football, you'd think he had won a Super Bowl. Really has an inflated opinion of himself because of all the bluster coming from the Jets, but we can blame Rex Ryan for that.

7. Inflated Sense of Moral Superiority Based on Sense of Moral Superiority.

I'm starting to feel like Tebow is becoming a parody of himself. I was down with his piousness before, but lately in interviews it's like he's going out of his way to live up to the image of "holy boy." His every word pays homage to the persona, as though he can't step out of character once. It's the flipside of Brady telling everyone he looks at porn (Tom was kind of parodying himself there too, trying to break up his rep a little bit). Even worse about Tebow, he has a bit of flamer's voice, kind of soft, not at all what you'd expect from a beefy athlete his size, and it makes me wonder if he isn't at odds with himself and his religion. Oh yeah, he sounds as dumb as a bag of rocks.

No other QBs make my listed an unlikeable.

Which manning is good/bad?

How Mike Vick isn't on the bottom of every list is beyond me.

Sure,he paid his time in Jail, but does anyone in here really think he would have stopped the Dog Killing spree if he wasn't caught doing it?

I certainly don't think so,he would still be killing and mutilating thousands of more animals today.

Remember,he didn't turn himself into police...he was caught running the operation.

so do you hate every convicted felon you don't know personally who has served their time and now is back on their feet? or just the ones who kill animals for sport?

Pretty much this......... Except, I'd take Newton and Manning off the like list and add Rogers to it.

I'd put Newton in the Dislike (or "neutral feeling" is more accurate). I'd put Manning in a new category though titled "Respect". I can't really say I "like" him, but I do respect his game.
