ok, int% leaders by year
2011 Alex Smith 1.1%
2010 Tom Brady 0.8%
2009 Brett Favre 1.3%
2008 Jason Campbell 1.2%
tied Seneca Wallace
2007 David Garrard 0.9%
2006 Damon Huard 0.4%
I guess I was wrong, it is a telling stat.
Anyway, I am done. Thanks for the entertainment. Is it August yet.
You may be done but, since you pulled up names in a derogatory fashion, this needs a bit of followup:
2011 - Smith has best season to date, leads 49ers to NFCCG
2010 - Brady is NFL's first unanimous MVP
2009 - Favre Voted to Pro Bowl, leads Vikings to OT in NFCCG
2008 - Jason Campbell - the 2008 leader duo is the weakest of the bunch, but Campbell gets WAS to 8-8 under Zorn
2008 - Wallace guides a lousy Seattle team to 3 of its 4 wins on the season, going 3-5 while Hasselbeck went 1-6
2007 - Garrard leads Jags to playoffs, goes 9-3 as starter, wins playoff game
2006 - Huard only plays half the season, has QB rating of 98.0. Goes 5-3 as starter, helps Chiefs make playoffs
So, in other words, the examples you pulled for the stat you're bagging on indicate that the stat was a pretty good indicator for the time period you cited.
