Yes indeed, Blue is a god cover corner and I think he will really come into his own this year and over the next few years. I feel this Pats "D" backfield is going to be a very pleasant surprise this year. Would not shock me if as a group, we are among the top 5 or 10 in the league.

Chad Scott, Sanders, and Hawkins show up more often in the dime. Gay may stay in and Rodney go out, I hadn't noticed for sure...

i exepected to see gay as a starter, but hobbs must have beat him out.

ty law called asante a "ball magnet" in his rookie year. watch the games and IMHO asante gets his hands on the ball 2--3 times a game. i'd much rather see a ball magnet at the nickel, in the middle of the field, but what do i know.

I just mentioned to a colleague that it seems like Asante either gets burned or gets a pick. I like Asante alot, but he makes me nervous.

Didn't think Blue showed up that much in pre-season. Little slow getting the rust off? Probably pick it up as he gets more used to game speed.
