I don't know all that much about where he stands on issues, or what it is he believes in, but I am curious to find out. Apparently he's running for a US Senate seat being vacated in Kentucky.

    I bet you do.

Not from the same places as Obama or Mongiardo, the masters of corporate leeches.

Yea it's called Freedom of Speech. As a small-business owner that means I can support Rand Paul without all the leftist roadblocks.

America - the capital of Freedom of Speech!

Yet another individual that despises free speech when practiced by those who have the audacity to disagree with him.

This is a pattern I'm noticing this midterms - the incumbents(whether they're Democrats or Republicans) are in hot waters in the PRIMARIES - yes, the PRIMARIES, NOT the run offs. And to boot, some incumbents aren't even running again(i.e. Chris Dodd).

All these politicians on both sides are bought off, but at least we'll start with some fresh blood this time around.

Read this one in the Post this a.m. too...

Oddly enough, he's not even named for Ayn Rand. He's named for the Krugerand... no just kidding. He shortened "Randy".... for what reason not even Ron seemed to know LOL.

Interestingly enough, many of the Tea Partiers are against the recent Supreme Court decision, which makes all kinds of sense. Half of them are anti-corporate, half are anti-government, and the third half (tea party logic, remember,) are both...

Paul's supposed to be the distillation of the Tea Partiers, so it'll be interesting to watch his attempt to take down the local Rs.

As to the incumbents all being in trouble, that's pretty much universal at the moment. As to the joy over it, well, okay, but that's pretty much how we got Jimmy Carter -- ooo an outsider! Me, I didn't mind his politics... but you have to admit, he was not the epitome of effectiveness.

    Careful what you wish for.
