What should we be called considering our offensive juggernaut? Any suggestions?

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

We're not as good as they were on offense. No way and its only been 3 games. At the time they had the best QB in the NFL, MVP too I think. They had the best RB in the NFL. And they had two terrific starting WR's.

Super Bowl Champions?

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

The 3-0 New England Patriots.

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

I think our offense is just as good, maybe better. We have possibly the greatest QB EVER. We have Randy Moss, one of the best WR EVER. We have Stallworth, who is fast and has yet to see many balls from Brady. We Have Welker who is a great guy for the middle lanes and special teams. We have a great TE in Watson/Brady. We have a great RB 1-2 punch in Maroney/Morris, and a good HB 1-2 punch in Faulk/Evans.

Oh yea, and we have Belichick. (Yes I know he's a defensive expert and not the OC, but he knows what he's doing)

How is that anything short of amazing?

hyperbole incarnate

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

Just say NO to goofy team nicknames.

SB Champions is enough.

Picture Perfect Patriots? Or the Respect team.

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

I think the 19-0 SB Champs is fine.

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

New England Patriots, Superbowl XLII Champions.

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

How about:

“It’s only been three games and while they look scary good right now, let’s not go crazy with trying to come up with nicknames just yet.”

I don’t think that would fit on a t-shirt.

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

I did send in to the Herald "The 2007 Patriots" when they were asking for cute nicknames.

I heard on this board "The 38 Specials" which I thought was very cool, but awfully presumptuous.

Most nicknames that are forced come out sounding as bad as the name given to the Squeelers mascot "Steely McBeam" which is not a good thing at all. (that one is really embarrassing)

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

You need a name for the Offense and a name for the Defense, too.

I suggest for the O, that slices your D to ribbons: " The Razor's Edge"

I suggest for the D, that rubs your O wrong: " The Razor's Burn"

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

Bill and Brady's 3 ring circus.:D

If they were the greatest show on turf...

...The Patriots are the Greatest Show on Earth!!!

On top of that, we're on pace to score a record 608 points this season (Rams highest was 540), although Dallas is actually slightly ahead of our pace.

Re: Rams were the "Greatest Show on Turf"....

Those of you who know Fitzy once called us "the fuggin Juggernaut" to refer to the 23-0 streak.

I think "the Champs" has a nice ring to it. I can't get used to it being applied to the Colts. How wrong.
