Quicker, smarter, less Kocky, scrappy ... and more... rondo has 21 tonight and Telfair is in trouble. He'll stay here in Boston pending our draft pick ... but he's gone ... Rondo already is better ... no question.

Yup, Rondo is the real deal.

He's making me change my mind about whether this team needs a true PG or not. This kid is for real.

Great pickup by Ainge in the draft ....

Check out the prospects for this years draft.

Real, real weak in the PG area ... there's like 2 or 3
projected to be picked in round 1.

In reality ... the PG position isn't as important as years ago
but it's still nice to have a competant 1.

Yup, that was a great move by Danny, hopefully he's got more draft magic in him come next draft - I think it's this upcoming pick that is really going to make or break our franchise for the next half a dozen years or so...well, if he doesn't make some kind of trade between now and then.

I'd love to see how Pierce plays with Rondo as the starting PG. Why I was for the idea of an AI trade was b/c I thought AI's penetration would lead to lots of open shots for Pierce. Rondo's quickness may do the same, but since we seem not to use our PGs that way, I've never thought we needed a true PG on our team. Rondo's really changing my mind, though.
