for those of you who think snowballs are dangerous, have you ever been hit with a freakin snowball?!?!?! yeah, it sucks, but its not gonna freakin maim you! and NO, those werent iceballs, (maybe a select few, like the one the tv camera seemed to find), they exploded nicely on the heads of the jets players and assistants.
i was sitting on the 50, 14 rows up on the jets sideline. it was hilarious seeing a snowball (not iceball) explode on a jets guy. nobody was aiming for the security or the cops, they were just collateral damage.
maybe it is a little classless, but after everything the mangina put us through as fans this year, some people just cant help taking out some frustration.
and by the way, for those of you who werent at the game, there were at least a hundred snowballs in the visitors entrance endzone, and probably 50 on the jets sideline..

Did anyone get hurt (other than their feelings or pride)? Didn't think so...

Cause LUCKILY no one got seriously injured it's okay? For the sake of all mankind I hope your kidding.

Look, you were one of the Internet Big Boys here talking about snowball throwing before the game. Go find another team to root for. Loser.

Your right, A nice solid chunck of ice tossed 50 ft hitting you square in the face would give me a good chuckle.

Sorry "Hoss" I was refering to the ice chucks thrown on the field that caused the refs to halt the game.

Off the top of my head, Chuck Foreman comes to mind, kid. I'm sure many others have been injured from it - - that's why the Giants sent many of their fans to jail a few years ago for throwing 'em.

But you think "it's wicked cool".

"But before Foreman could answer, a snowball did what 11 Bills defender could not, and that was sideline Foreman. A fan in the stands showed remarkable accuracy with a snowball, hitting him in the face and forcing him to the sidelines with blurred vision. The Vikings would cruise to a 35-13 win, but the Juice would take the record."

In that case, I WOULD have escorted his butt out myself, along with any parent that was with him.

Not a "kid" so to speak. A drunken early 20ish punk. Security warned him 3 times. The first time, a female supervisor came up screaming that whoever was throwing them better stop. I didn't hesitate to point him out. At the end of the 3rd quarter, he was planning on leaving so he was trying to decide which security guard to toss one at. Then he kept saying he was gonna hit "blue poncho guy." This is the guy that sits near my GF's bro's and dad. He ended up having to piss and his buddies left with him. If he hit Gene, I would've tossed him down the stairs.

As far as taking their tix, I don't see that happening as alot of people weren't sitting in their assigned seats yesterday.

anyone throwing snowballs at anyone but jets and mangina deserves to have their face smashed in. especially throwing them at women.

Yet another idiotic post.

Yeah I dont see them being able to take away season tickets from anyone because the majority of the people throwing the snowballs werent sitting in their assigned seats.

I'd LOVE to line you up & hit you with one of those soft ice balls smack in your face....I guess that would be HILARIOUS!:rocker:

To all the toddlers and brainless idiots who make statements like this..sbiwballs CAN be very dangerous...nt father in law's sister was killed by one many many years ago when she was 14. Granted it was a long time ago..but if one is hit in the head on the right place, it's VERY possible to have a very serious injury. So you MAY light of this situtaion..but it only shows ignorance/

As I discussed with Shmess, I wouldn't mind if Mangini was hit by a snowball (not an iceball, not a beer bottle) and wasn't injured, just annoyed. Doesn't come close to breaking even, but it's one step to make the Mangina remember what he did. I wouldn't be the one throwing the snowball, nor would I condone those who did - they broke the law, and that's just plain dumb.

It is no surprise that even moderators here condone "different rules" for snowball throwing. Yeah, hit 'em, but don't hurt 'em. After all, the Jets were "invited guests" right??
