The protest was the idea of the activist magazine, ADBUSTERS, a publication with about 100,000 subscribers. They are calling for people to come to Wall Street and camp out by the famous gold bull and protest their demands be met. Thus far, they haven'g figured out what those demands are.

"The demand could be some stupid lefty thing like 'overthrow capitalism,'" Lasn says. "We're hoping it's something specific and doable, like asking Obama to set up a committee to look into the fall of U.S. banking. Nothing extreme about that."

Adbusters is a pretty radical publication...at least far left.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with being radical. I would only view it as wrong if a group of them became militant.

Not me. Maybe a bit premature, but eventually, the hoarding going on there has to stop. Something's gotta give.

If any group of Americans tried to overthrow capitalism, they would be crushed...So you'd be ok with a radical group that killed fellow AMericans. Even if they killed the CEO of Bank of America, I'd want to see them all hang Wistah.

When Teabaggers rally it is good, and they demonstrate their constitutional right.. when these folks rally it is anti american or kommunist or something like that.

I think radicals from left or right express a view that many people at least partlty agree with. It's the milktoast, go along with it types that pigs on Wall Street like having around. Most people will do what they're told by the TV and are unwilling to put themselves through any discomfort to effect a change they know is necessary. One of the things most Americans agree need changing is the massive spending by the government, endless wars, and unrestrained accumulation of wealth by a select few in this country. Few are willing to take to the streets for any of those causes.

Drastic change is needed on many levels in this country to help make it viable, as the divide between rich and poor is increasing more and more. Was on the left coast last week, and a couple of newspaper articles that were interesting was the continued sales of multi million dollar houses.. against the backdrop of 12% unemployment in that state.

    Something ain't very right...

In an interview one of these protesters wants to "arrest Geithner" that tax dodging creep that works for Jug Ears, so these people can't be all bad, they should join forces with the Tea Party and take this country back.

I think if they got together (like the mafia families) they could work something out to get rid of this Obama & His Gang before the people of America start killing each other on the streets, violence is coming make no mistake about it, even many far left democrats are now realizing that they made a big mistake putiing this "know nothing poster boy" in the White House.
I wouldn't be surprised if Obama isn't taking his orders from Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers.

There is no relationship there, but what we do know are the Koch Brothers are the financial arm of the Tea Party and they are in a shytload of trouble, maybe Darrell Issa and his pig circus will investigate the Kochs', probably not as he vowed only to go after Obama..

I think Pant Suit Hillary is waiting in the background, Bill Clinton is no dummy, they want The White House bad and they know that big trouble is brewing Koch's, Obama, Wall Street, Tea Party and now The New Protesters, it's all coming to a head, then while we are all fighting among ourselves Mohammad will sneak in and Blow Up Chicago.

The Obama slobbering social experiment didn't work, they picked the wrong guy in all of their fawning excitment he talks pretty but is in way over his head and his arrogance won't permit him to change.

The legs are still tingling over at NBC though, they are hanging on to the "silly dream"

A mistake re Obama v Hillary? I'm sure many Dems would agree with that.

But a mistake re Obama v McCain / Palin? don't think you'll find many Dems who agree with that (doubt you'll find that many Obama voters at all who'd agree with that)

Has anyone seen the pictures and the footage of these protestors? Just seem to be a bunch of angry white folks. Like 95% of them.
