There is a huge outrage from the right about Chick-fil-a being denied building franchises in Boston and Chicago from those cities respective Mayors. How is this any different from when adult stores and strip joints being denied their requests to open their establishments? I'm not comparing the kinds of business, what I am comparing is when elected officials deny potential business owners from setting up their stores. How is this any different. I mean, in both cases they base their decisions on their personal beliefs.

For starters, I don't think any openings have been denied. In both cases I think the mayors just opened their trap and said things that were unwise.

In this case or the case of other businesses, due process needs to be followed. In this instance, if CFA had actually simply been denied openings the proper process wouldn't have been followed.
