Rather than repeat what is written by John Clayton, can you please verify that the Pats are actually $16.9 million under their adjusted cap figure??If the Pats are 16.9 million under the $102 million cap, then they are $14.9 million under their adjusted cap. $2 million signs a couple of good players.
2.) Seymour's listed salary on the NFLPA.org site decreased from $5,020,000 to $2,020,000. Why???If the salary decrease is part of the reason that the Patriots are supposedly under their adjusted cap number by $17 million, then some of that cap space will be eaten up by a new deal with Seymour or Seymour will be holding out again.
