I did not really try to look this up so I will ask anyone who has the answer...

Under the Belichick regime here in NE what was the team's record coming off a Thursday game with a win or loss and have we ever played a Thursday game and then a Monday game afterwards?

Thanks for any answer

Pats games on Thursdays in Belichick era:

In 2000 the Pats played week 13 at Detroit on Thursday 11/23
Detroit won 34-9
The previous Sunday the Pats beat Cincy at home 16-13
The following Monday the Pats beat KC at home 30-24

The Pats did not play on a Thursday in 2001

In 2002 the Pats played week 13 at Detroit on Thursday 11/28
The Pats won 20-12
The previous Sunday the Pats beat Minnesota at home 24-17
The following Sunday the Pats beat the Bills at home 27-17

In 2003 the Pats did not have any Thursday games

In 2004 the Pats opened the season on Thursday at home and beat the Colts 27-24
Ten days later on Sunday the Pats won at Arizona 23-12

In 2005 the Pats opened the season on Thursday September 8th
The Pats beat Oakland at home 30-20
Ten days later on Sunday the Pats lost at Carolina 27-17

The Pats did not have any Thursday games in 2006 or 2007

In 2008 the Pats played in Foxboro in week 11 on 11/13
The Jets defeated the Pats 31-24
Five days earlier the Pats beat Buffalo at home 20-10
Ten days later the Pats won at Miami 48-28

In 2009 the Pats did not play on a Thursday

In 2010 the Pats played at Detroit in week 12 on Thursday 11/25
Pats won 45-24
The previous week the Pats beat the Colts at home 31-28
The following week: TBD

-----------------------
Thursday record: 4-2
When Pats win on Thursday they are 2-1 the following game
When Pats lose on Thursday they are 2-0 the following game
Only one MNF game following a Thursday game, in 2000 (a win)
Pats are 4-0 in games prior to a Thursday game (6-0 if you include season overlap)
Pats are 9-2 when playing three games in less than two weeks including a Thursday game

Thanks JMT for the work,appreciated

If past history on Thursday games is any indication,it appears the Pats have a very good chance to win next week.
