    #3 Jersey

When Vinatraitor left, the Pats brought in an FA (Gramatica) and drafted a rookie (Gostkowski).

When Paxton left, the Pats brought in an FA (Hodel) and drafted a rookie (Ingram).

Now Hanson appears to be gone. . . . so who do you think the Pats will bring in to compete for the spot?

    #24 Jersey

There's a few low round draftable guys, I imagine we'll toss a #6 or #7 at one, sign a veteran FA and let them compete. Belichick doesn't seem to value Punters that much.

It does make a lot of sense that a punter will be drafted with one of those 7th rounders. It would be nice to find a young punter for once, instead of always having Bill's favorite retread.

Kapinos was let go by GB. Strong leg, kicked in bad conditions. Guess GB ticked by blocked punt in playoff game. Seems a little bizarre.

    Punter? Ray Guy? Reggie Roby?

How about Jeff Feagles, he's probably as good as anyone out there.

I'd expect wes welker to take up the punting duties when he is healthy again, bill really values versatility. Not to mention anything about the extra active roster spot this opens up.

Hopefully they will draft Zoltan Mesko in the later rounds.

Definitely, He's 6'5 236 so Bill will make him a linebacker as well.

That is assuming he wants to use one or any of them on a punter in the first place...there will be plenty of UDFA punters on the market of good quality that he could bring in for a long looksie...

    No Jersey Selected

Bring in a FA (Craig Hentrich or Hunter Smith?) and draft a 7th-round rookie (Brent Bowden or Bobby Malone?).
