Good article linked below - Hightower and Collins mentioned as likely franchise tags by their respective teams.
What is also interesting is how undervalued tight ends still are compared with other positions despite a strong (8%) projected gain for 2017 - at a projected $9.9m they are still the "cheapest" of the non-kicker/punter positions, way under the projected near-$17m for DEs. So you could nearly get two top tight ends for the price of a single top DE. That doesn't seem sensible to me.
Also makes me wonder if they might franchise Bennett if they can't come to an agreement.
