That confirms for me that the man is a complete liar!

Did they ask him questions about how gas is on the verge of passing $4/gal, or the thousands of countless deaths in a lost war, or an exit strategy from the Middle East? How about the D.C. madam and his fellow senators? You know, the questions a senator SHOULD be worried about?

I would be embarrassed to be a constituent of Specter. He just sounds utterly clueless. He has no idea what the hell is going on here. It's sad to see someone that senile in a position of power that he is now.

It's like a 3-year old kid commenting on it. Or like Bill Belichick commenting on a flute player's performance in an orchestra. He's operating on a limited knowledge of football and the NFL, and it just makes him look like a total idiot when he tries to conduct a serious investigation into a league full of people and fans who simply know more about the sport than he does.

He thinks he's conducting an investigation into a shooting or something. He thinks he knows what he's doing, he thinks that what he's calling for is common sense and what people were looking for. No. He's just clueless.

The most basic question to ask him is if he asked Walsh who the other team was he saw cheating and if he's going to investigate them with the same zeal he did the Patriots.

He accepts Walsh as a credible witness - he can't pick and choose which of his comments to accept just because he might not hate that team as much as the Patriots.

Does no one in the media have the common sense to ask Walsh which team he witnessed cheating against the Patriots? Does no one have the common sense to ask Specter if he asked that question of Walsh, what the answer was and whether he's going to hold them to the same standard as the Pats?
