Just picked up the 2008 ProFW NFL Preview magazine.

Here are some of the things I have just been able to read.

1. Patriots predicted to beat the Cowboys in the Super Bowl
2. Patriots on the top 50 players regardless of position: #1 tom Brady & #4 Randy Moss
3.Top 10 Rookies to make an impact on their team #6 J. Mayo.
4.Patriots predicted record 13-3.

Will post more later on when I have a chance to read more.

Was Randy the best receiver at 4, Patsnutme?

#1 and #4 on our team, not too shabby.

13-3 feels right to me, too.

And no, I don't want ANY losses, nor will I guess who they'll lose to.

I know you're half joking, but if they wouldve written negative stuff everyone would be *****ing and complaining. I'll take refreshing postive stuff over negative at this point.:eat2:

The Sporting News preview mixes the positive and negative:

Predicted record: 14-2

Predicted Finish: Loss in the AFCCG to the Chargers (also 14-2). San Diego goes on to beat Dallas in the SB.

I don't mind the truth. This team will get big headed? LMAO they're hiding their faces more than anything.

Did any of the magazines predict we will have another championship in the bag and then for the 3rd straight year the defense will let the other team drive 80 yards in the last 2 minutes to blow it?

It doesn't hurt anymore...I'm over it.

As long as I never watch the video of that game again. And so far, I have not.

I made the mistake of watching it on NFL Network the other night.

luckily we have 2 other great teams to help make it all better until the new season starts.

I dont wish for a loss, but every time i hear some nitwit say anything about a perfect season in 2008 and i want to upchuck. I dont care about a perfect season. I care about winning the Super Bowl.

Very true. I just want a SB Win!!

Go Pats!!

:rocker:What he said.....

I predicted 13-3 last year, and would be very happy with 13-3 this year as well..

The only thing that worries me about this year or any year are injuries.. barring this we are hands down the best team with the best talent.

How dare they disrespect this team like that?!

{Sarcasm off}

They do list Chad Jackson as our "break through player".:rofl:

I have a copy of this and I was very shocked to see that Rodney Harrison was NOT listed as one of the top safeties in the league. Maybe I missed his name, but I couldn't find it when they listed their top players by position.

I won't. I haven't watched the '06 AFCCG at Indy and I won't watch the '07 (season not year) SB. Ever.

I see absolutely no reason why any Pats fan would ever want to watch either of those games again.

"Today I'm going to wake up, have something to eat then spend spend the next 6 hours watching the two most depressing losses in franchise history".
