Biggest surprises to me are Bruschi No. 1 for ILBs, Jarvis Green No. 2 in defensive end voting and Nick Kaczur second after Matt Light for tackle voting. Folks I think we've become the Chargers.

Wow thats horrible.

Some of those players deserve it but all of them?

Thats ridiculous.

Funny that the Pats were snubbed when deserving so many times in the past especially on defense but now that they have a great offense they get votes where they don't really deserve them. Just goes to show the average NFL fan out there really buys into what ESPN & Co. are selling.

Good to see the O-line getting some deserved votes.

I don't think thats it, I think he's showing the guy with the most votes and compares that with the amount of votes the patriots player at that position has. Obviously James Sanders is not going to the Pro Bowl hes just showing a comparison

Then why is he ranking them. Ex., putting a 4) before Eugene Wilson.

I am glad that Vrabel is up there on the list! It would be awesome to see him go. Yes, I know the Pro Bowl means nothing, but still he is deserving for all he does! :)

I think what's bad is that there's no way to vote for Rodney Harrison! That's right I can't even find him on the ballot!! Noticed that the Colts have just about as many skill players up there based on rep alone.

didn't they make a rule last year after Merriman got busted that players suspended for steroid policy violations can't be pro bowl eligible in the same year?

Yes, he is.

That is all.

I agree, Bruschi is having a mediocre year.
But he's had other years where he had good cases
but was not selected.
Voters seem to be behind the times on this one.
Hate it to say it.:(

It is what it is. ;)

I think the player and coaches voting will balance out a few discrepancies. But some of these guys didn't get a whif when they deserved it, so turnabout is fair play. The pro bowl is all about your rep.

Eugene though...LOL

LOL Eugene "4 games" Wilson?

Yea hes going.

Fan votes only count for 1/3rd. If I remember correctly, Brady had the second highest QB vote count last year and didn't make it. The fan vote doesn't count for much. :)

The best is Chris Hanson. How is he a pro-bowl punter, he isn't even a full-time employee of the Patriots anymore.

i don't think Adam V deserves it this year.

Wasn't Patrick Pass voted in as the fans choice for AFC fullback a few years ago? I'm not certain on the rules, but I don't think just because they're voted #1 at their position by the fans means that they get a ticket to Hawaii. The players' vote holds more weight I believe.

The AFC:

2007 World Champion Patriots

The NFC:

Mixture of the Cowboys and the Packers
