It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Last season I thought it was the other way around when he was covering for Warren and Wilfork. :confused2: Previous years he's been pretty solid at both.I must be completely out of the loop regarding Wright; everyone keeps calling him a nose but I thought his best performances were at end.

NE normally keeps seven DL, though they kept six last season with one on the Practice Squad. I think Brace argues for seven DL this year to keep the depth healthy while carrying the rookie trainee:I am curious to see who makes the final cut LeKevin or Green? This of course is barring a major DL injury in TC. One of them is going to have to go.
Now if those players all stay healthy **crosses fingers** that would be one fantastic group!

1. Seymour
2. Wilfork
3. Warren
4. Green
5. Wright
6. L. Smith
7. Brace
The other four are Practice Squad eligible and could be fighting for one or two slots there. With the injury caveat you noted.
I like Wright in the nickel packages as an interior pass rusher. He gets upfield pretty quickly and helps collapse the pocket. In all the whining about where the OLB pass rusher is going to come, I think people forget that for a decent amount of snaps last season, we kept 3 DL on the field in the nickel, which would put a lot less pressure on the OLBs to get to the QB.
I also think AD's pass rushing abilities are severely underestimated and underappreciated.
Last year the defensive line put up some impressive sack numbers: Seymour (8), Wright (2.5), Green/Warren/Wilfork (2 each)...that's 16.5 of the teams 30 total sacks from a 3-4 defensive line.
Give me a healthy Thomas all year and I feel pretty good.
