    Just want to give some historical perspective to those on this forum who periodically post Rasmussen results or other polls to make the case against Obama.

    You know better than to give the thread a title like that.

    Regarding your point, you are right that the poll of the day is not instructive by itself. That said, the obamans are swimming upstream with their bigger government policies that are not inherently popular with Americans. He has a big problem and will lose his Senate 60 and lose tons of House seats in a little over a year unless something surprising happens between now and then.

    I agree with his first point more.

    It's tremendous unfair and misleading to title a thread to mislead people into opening it. I might expect one of us dopes to do it on occasion, but to have a moderator do it is quite shocking.

    Why not title it: "Have no fear, the same thing happened to Reagan" or "Obama/Reagan historical perspective". It's validly conceived topic, with a very deceiving title.
