I'm biased because of my Avatar. To put anyone above George Washington is just insane, IMO.
Switch #'s 1 & 2 as well as #'s 7 & 5. The rest is splitting hairs, IMO.

Hollywood, MTV and The Fawning "Obama Groupies" have taken over, the pendulum swings.

Bush and his war caused most of this and we hear much hate and criticism towards Bush on this but we never seem to hear much about his other "falure" his falure not to lift a finger or not one word of condemnation over the Invasion Of America by 12 million criminal Illegal Aliens, why was Bush silent on this, why was Bush a part of this, why didn't Jon Stewart or Drooling Matthews crucify Bush on his Do Nothing Policy as America was being Invaded.

The Prince Messiah Barack Hussein Obama is on the march followed by his Leg Tingling Groupies, America is drifting into great danger, the Messiah should never assume that our enemy is also in love with him, the Terrorist's are waiting, they are patient, they despise us, they will be back but of course the "blame america left wing" scoffs at this notion, time will tell, I hope our "New Savior" won't look the other way with the savage terrorist as Bush did with the Illegal Alien.

(many aliens are sneaking back into their own country the "free stuff" over here is drying up)

Interesting how Truman is listed at #5. When he left office, his popularity was that of GW Bush with a war and economic issues as well as corruption in his administration. At the time, he held the lowest approval rating of any President ( since broken)..
History has looked kindly on HST....

HIstory is the best judge, it is too early to judge GWB.. time will tell whether he deserves more.. I doubt it, but need intelligence at this time.

Yes, and he doesn't deserve it.

It's Truman who made nuclear weapons a legitimate tool of war. He killed and tortured tens of thousands of civilians needlessly in a crime against humanity that has gone unpunished.

Hiroshima: Quotes

"...in [July] 1945... Secretary of War Stimson, visiting my headquarters in Germany, informed me that our government was preparing to drop an atomic bomb on Japan. I was one of those who felt that there were a number of cogent reasons to question the wisdom of such an act. ...the Secretary, upon giving me the news of the successful bomb test in New Mexico, and of the plan for using it, asked for my reaction, apparently expecting a vigorous assent.

"During his recitation of the relevant facts, I had been conscious of a feeling of depression and so I voiced to him my grave misgivings, first on the basis of my belief that Japan was already defeated and that dropping the bomb was completely unnecessary, and secondly because I thought that our country should avoid shocking world opinion by the use of a weapon whose employment was, I thought, no longer mandatory as a measure to save American lives. It was my belief that Japan was, at that very moment, seeking some way to surrender with a minimum loss of 'face'. The Secretary was deeply perturbed by my attitude..."

If the Left Wing Socialist Loons start writing the history books they'll turn George Washington into a Muslim, George Bush into a Pedophile and they'll say Monica Lewinsky drugged Billy Blue Dress then Raped him.

On that we'll have to disagree. While Ike may have thought that Japan was a defeated nation, their actions on Iwo and other home islands of "death before surrender" led the Joint Chiefs to estimate casualties of over a million men for an invasion of Japan. Civilians throughout Japan were being trained to fight the American invaders. That is not the action of a defeated nation. Eisenhower was applying the mindset of Germany to an Asian nation and its different viewpoint on surrender.
Truman had to make a decision weighing the lives of over one million Americans versus using a nuclear weapon and convincing the Japanese to surrender. Keep in ind, even after the first bomb, they did not surrender. It was only after the bombing of Nagasaki that they finally relented and even then, there was a near coup to keep the war going....

Casualty Estimates for the invasion of Japan

Estimate US/Allied Casualties Joint Chiefs of Staff
(April 1945) Olympic Wounded: 347,000
Olympic Dead/Missing: 109,000
Wounded: 744,000
Dead/Missing: 158,000
TOTAL: 1,200,000

The Planned Invasion of Japan, the U.S.S. Harry Lee, an Attack Transport Ship in WWII
In retrospect, the 1 million American men who were to be the casualties of the invasion, were instead lucky enough to survive the war.

They tend to break the rules, always get attention, tho there not that good, and get bids to bowls based on their name.

I don't know about the breaking the rules part, as they have been on NCAA probation once for the actions of a booster......There are schools that can't count how many violations they have....

Can you use "W" and "Notre Dame" in the same sentence?
