I realize that our views may change, but just curious to see who you like best of the leading candidates.

I can't vote for just one. No one has stood out yet on either side. I'll tell you who I don't favor, and who I'd consider.

    Interested in:

    Obama
    Rudi
    McCain (blah)

    No thanks:

    Hillary (fony)
    Edwards (ambulance chaser)
Romney (suit who left us high and dry)

    Incomplete:

    Anyone else.

Cannot support any of these candidates. If there were no Libertarian on the ticket, I'd have to write in a name or abstain.

    #12 Jersey

Unfortunately it looks again like the vote will go to someone because of who we don't want to get elected.

If he runs, and it looks like he will, I will be proudly casting a vote for Fred Thompson.

Saw a snippet, the tail end, of his interview with Sean Hannity. Still, I have no clue what his positions are, but he at least sounded like a real straight shooter. I like honest people, or pols that are as straight forward as is allowable. Obama strikes me as one of those types, as does Rudi. Still early though, so we'll see more as time goes by.

I would vote for Thompson, as for the others.... would probably vote against whoever looks the worst.

Edwards is out in front for me because most of the other candidates have incomplete grades right now. I'm only sure I won't vote for Richardson and the old guy who was on The Colbert Report this week. Thomson seems like he'd make a fine President, but he sure came off as a convincing Aircraft Carrier Captain in The Hunt for Red October, and as a perfect Presidential Chief of Staff in the Secret Service movie with Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich and Rene Ruso. So I wonder how much is just style vs substance with him.

Thompson is an attorney and started out on the Watergate committee as an attorney. The acting happened 15-20 years later.

Once again the choices stink, would like to see someone not tied into the Dem/Rep machine and all its machinations go for it.

    What?
    No Ron Paul?
Why Not? He has as much a chance as Hillary Clinton....none.
