Who needs gravitas when you've got whimsy?
Are those Rick Perry's toes?
Rumors are that he gets a "Manni-PERRY"
will a woman ever be President or will they always be judged as a woman rather than a legit candidate?
God Bless Them
The powerful women are getting "to powerful" and to top that off they are on the wrong side, The Gloria Steinham gang didn't want things to work out this way, Gloria thought they were all going to be little Left Wing Democrat CLONES (barbara boxers).......:singing:
You've Come A Long Way Baby
Dont let Rexy see this thread...
Are those Bachman's toes?
This pic is Presidential. From head to hay.
I get the feeling that Americans will deserve whatever president we get.
I agree to an extent. We are 15 months away from the general election so silly pictures like Mrs and I posted are just that.
I wasn't so much aghast at the polka dot toes or the satanic black polish (although, honestly, paint like that is best left to the under 25-crowd.) What surprised me was that a woman who claims to be "heartland" and "common folk" would be so stupid as to wear open toed shoes to a state fair.
Do you have any idea of how many animals are milling around there and what the odds of stepping in deep doo-doo of the physical not political kind are?
Not too smart - and definitely not realistic.
Well then at least she would know what it's like to walk in dung everyday ... just like we do.
In fairness to Bachmann she didn't walk anywhere. Like all the other candidates she was shuttled around in a golf cart.
Open toed shoes? I always cringe when I see people at Fenway or Gillette in flip-flops/open toed shoes. Those people have either not been to a bathroom at a pro sports game or simply don't mind what they are standing on.
That could be her campaign slogan
Sorry, wasn't Bachmann. It's the other gravitas female.
Tell me about it. Ick. State fairs are the same way - only worse. Plus, someone always steps on your foot - always. If not another person, a horse or a pig or a cow or something. 4-H llivsetock lives to stomp on your feet. You say, "Oh how gorgeous that horse is," and you reach up to pet him and he leans into you and boom!! Next thing you know, his head's on your shoulder and his hoof's on your instep.
I swear it's their secret revenge.
This was awesome.
Now that's the most redundant post I've seen in a while. Of course we deserve whatever president we get! Duh...
Since we've always gotten the one who gets the most votes (elecoral votes, that is), we've always deserved every single past POTUS we've had...
now i'm all confused.....
I find it fitting that a person who complains about the treatment of women alot (like herself in this forum), started a thread to criticize a female political candidate for having painted toe nails. Apparently the message here is that a woman isn't presidential material if she paints her toe nails. In some sense I guess we've come a long way. It used to be that women in general weren't presidential material, so I guess the establishment of a woman's toe nail paint as the determining factor, is progress.
I'd have criticized a man for the same thing, too.
If you bother to read the thread, you'll see that I don't really care about her polish - but I do question the sanity of anyone who walks around a state fair ground in open toed shoes.
She walks the Hall of Congress every day. There's more heaps of dung there than a chicken farm.......
It's not Bachmann.
I repeat, it's not Bachmann.
It's the other one. The one that 13 insists is going to announce in September.
Separate names with a comma.
