Well according to the link Laos hasn't executed anyone since 1990. I'd say that if a nation of somewhere around 6-7 million people goes 19 years without even one execution that maybe the law is just there to scare foreign travelers and keep the law and order crowd happy. I doubt they'll break a 19 year streak to kill a 20 yr old pregnant girl.

    .

    Pretty disgusting situation.

You don't want to be messing around with illegal drugs in those southern Asia countries. Death penalties are common.

Most of you are good with abortion so the pregnancy part doesn't seem overly relevlant. Another baby killed . . . so ???

I really have no pity for these people....

Singapore actually prints this warning underneath there visitor visas:

"Warning, Drug Smuggling is punishable by Death"

She smuggled over a pound of Heroin into a forgien country, what did she thinks was going to happen. As for getting pregnant in prison, I would put that under yet another reason I do not want to go to prison in Laos.....

Now that Hussein has put America on the British standard (Assumed Guilty until proven innocent), how can we challenge the law enforcement of another country?

Can you qualify this, I cannot find it.. thank you.

"If the banks won't cooperate, we (I love how he uses the Royal "we") will ASSUME that they are committing a crime..."'

    Barry Hussein Soerto

If that doesn't say guilty until proven innocent, I don't know what does.

that's awesome ... the forum anti-abortion radical and law enforcement enthusiast essentially shows no compassion for a fetus...

i guess the sanctity of the life of an unborn only goes as far as its law-abiding young mother. and, oh? prison rape for drug possession? "no pity... she should have known better." ...

Disgusting... Chalk up another situational ethics stance from the pro gun, pro bible, pro jail-'em-all contingent...

    saving this one, moderator...

Where have I ever said that I was against abortion? It is wrong and a sin, but I have always qualified that since I do not want to pay for the bastard children of others, then I will not force them to have them.

How stupid do you have to be to smuggle drugs into Laos (or any other country other than the US), who thinks that is a good idea? All of these idiot should be left to rot in jail. Bad things happen to people in prison (which is why you wish to aviod being there).

The compassionate social justice minister, raises his ugly head.. accounts indicate she may have been raped in Prison.. do not count on not doing drugs in prison..

The sensitivity is overwhelming and the compassionate for those less fortunate is heartwarming.. if she was not pregnant would you advocate for the death penalty????

I was going to post a little story on Singapore that I read about a few years back but I thought I would be attacked as racist again but hear it is anyway I will leave out "something".
An American man who happened to be one of these Grinning Far Left Wing Liberals, also a Lifetime Member of the ACLU, a lifetime member of Amnesty International and a lifetime member of Bush Haters International took a trip to Singapore, he brought along some Pot & Heroin, they nabbed him at the Airport, there was a picture in the paper of him being Cuffed, he grinned (democrat grin) there was also a picture of him standing under a sign that said "Entering Singapore With Drugs Is Punishable By Death" he posed under the sign and gave the Liberal Grin again in his goofy little liberal brain he probably imagined himself a Hero to all the batty loons back home in Frisco.
He went to court a few weeks later (still grinning) he was found guilty, the next morning they took him out behind the jailhouse and Hung Him, he was still grinning.

Remember this Lefty Loons, other countries don't give a sh!t about your "civli liberties"

So, you would rather she stay unpregnant and die????? :wha:

I don't fault her motivation for getting pregnant, if it was to save her life. She or her child may yet make a major contribution to the world. Who knows??

Don't get your so often taking things the wrong way. :confused2:

You've obvious mixed your uppers and downers together, again. You make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Only your insults are familiar.

Have a nice sleep, and we'll see you tomorrow.

So, just so we're clear on where you stand, moderator:

If a person in jail on drug possession charges is raped in prison, that's generally acceptable in your mind? They got what was coming to them? Drug possession is a "rapable offense?"
