------

I knew it was a hard schedule when I looked when they were 1st made, but DAMN... I thought last year was going to be a rough ride. This schedule is the hardest I have ever seen for the PATS in quite some time:eek:

I edited old post to put my wins down. I am still going 13-3 (Denver and Oak games r tough to predict) Denver has Knoshon M borderline BLAH for a #1 DP Like LOMO
OAK will be tough, but I think we got this.
we lose to Jets @ their place

11-5 is what I beleive is most likely

14-2 was an amazing record last year but lets figure that the defense will not get as many turnovers to help the offense and that may result in a few more losses than last year.

One upset this year I see are the Raiders beating us (the Raiders WILL make the playoffs this year if their new head coach is decent) while 2 losses will come from the AFC East and at least one loss from our games against Indy/Pitt and one loss from the NFC East

Put me on the 11-5 train. Like others have said, less turnovers on defense; however, I think they'll be better in the red zone and on third down. Offensively, I'm predicting a deliberately increased reliance on the run game and a slight regression by Brady, resulting in less scoring but better clock-killing ability. This year's regular season will be a showcase of growing pains and real potential. But in the end, I think they'll end up in the AFC Championship.

16-0 then Super Bowl champs. It started with Jeff Saturday and Bob Kraft.

I don't want to even ponder our regular season record. All I'm concerned with is making it to the big dance & winning the whole thing. The Pats indeed will have a winning record this year.

wow, well we still need a pass rush, so im goin with 12-4

I predict 13-3 or better. Now that the new Patriots superbowl contender has been rebuilt from top to bottom.

The first game against the Jets always seems to trip up BB and TFB. I can't see why it will be any different this year.

The Eagles are just too fast. Vick will run all over the defense.

Final Record: 14-2 Home-field Advantage

Homer super early prediction: 15-1, the loss coming early pre-bye week against a team we should've beaten, and then we win the Super Bowl.
Honest super early prediction: Anything under 13-3 will be disappointing and give the Jets a good chance to steal the East title from us.
Only real care: Getting a post-season win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going with 13-3.

I expect a level of play similar to last year but with a slightly harder schedule.

This schedule is hard....11-5 or 12-4

12-4, losing to the Jets once, Steelers, Eagles, and maybe Giants.

10-6. I like to be pleasantly surprised.

Too early to have a good sense for it but based upon last year and the current roster I will go with 12-4 and a Conference Final at minimum.

I saw a jets fan suggest that history shows the Patriots will be one and out, given tha logic it will be another 40 years and still no Lombardi's for the jets. Jet fans should really keep their pieholes shut until they actually win something. Predicting a championship doesn't make you one.

11-5 AFC wild card

We'll lose two at most of the three really tough away games. I don't see many losses at him maybe one shocker but thats unlikely. I'm very confident about their chances this year. This is a young team who experienced a playoff loss to their hated divisional rivals. With BB there will always be a very positive reaction to that.

14-2 again imo.

11 - 5, beating the JEST in the 1st round then winning the SB!!

I'd like to know who's on the team first.

I'm a stickler for minor details like that.
