Interesting exercise to pass the time of course, but very hard to try and 'predict' much of anything, but I'll give it a try:

--We will continue to compete at a high level no matter what, which of course includes a potential playoff berth or even more, barring major injuries

--The roster battles will be some of the most intense competitions that have ever taken place in the Belichick era

--Depth will be much deeper at most of the positions, which will help in the case of injury

--The running game will be more of a factor than it was last yr, which isn't saying much but still should be noted

--A nice combination of rookie/2nd/3rd yr youth and vet leadership will finally be properly blended to its fullest capability

--Interior pressure from the defensive line will be much better, with a healthier Pryor, + Fanane and Bequette

--The secondary will be improved, and although there will still be bad plays and yards allowed at times, they will do a much better job of limiting their opponent points-wise

--The defense overall will take several steps from the 15th defense in pts allowed to knocking on the door of the top 10

--Shane Vereen will show us flashes of why he was taken so highly, and will catch at least 20 passes

--Sterling Moore will improve on the oppotunistic occasions from late last season, and will provide us with much better depth in the backline as a nickle/dime CB (sleeper prediction)
