Wilfork and Warren are two pretty large anchors to this defense. Let's hope they are taking extra precautions and they won't be missing any significant time.

Let's hope they can do as well against Buffalo as they did against Carolina.

looks like they will miss the game or not be 100% . this is going to be a huge issue for the pats esp if our offense is anything like last few weeks.

Re: Pradctice_ good news and bad

Next week's forum frenzy if Brace starts:

    • Plays a great game: "How could the coaches be so stupid to have kept this guy on the bench so long? Unbelievable!"
    • Plays a bad game: "This guy is a busy. How could Bill/the scouts be so stupid as to waste a pick on this worthless sack of guts? Unbelievable!"

    Just guessing...

Re: Pradctice_ good news and bad

Without Wilfork and Warren we could very well lose this game. I hope at least one of them is active. We're lucky that the Bills oline sucks, but unfortunately their backs don't. Fred Jackson scares me as much as Marshawn. If the Brothers W are inactive, then Mayo and Guyton will really need to step up and have a good game.

I still don't see Brace starting even with these injuries. It looks to me like we'd have Green/Wright/Pryor start. Brace could get time as a sub with Adams as the only other healthy backup.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some 4-3 type fronts like we did earlier this year. Banta-Cain/Green/Wright/Burgess might be more effective than any of our 3-man lines without Warren and Wilfork.

Re: Pradctice_ good news and bad

I am not too nervous yet ... Bill could play McGowan and Meriweather in our version of a big nickel all game. I am not nervous about this game - for 1 game Adams, Pryor and Wright can be decent enough if we stack the box with safties. Also expect Chung to play a lot - all the safties will play a lot at the expense of the CB's.

Re: Practice_ good news and bad

My guess would be that DL need less practice time for game planning and such. I would expect them to play. Still, I hope Miami and NYJ lose a game in the next two week which will allow us to rest some guys the last game of the year.
