    well, i read the story and it sounds to me like a backdoor ploy to inch closer to scrapping net neutrality... including phrases like:

    "... reduce residential transmission speeds to make way for commerce."

    and

    "their ability to execute and process trades should not be affected by any congestion"

    and

    "Such network congestion could prevent staff from broker-dealers...."

    Interestingly, no talk of increasing bandwith by improving infrastructure... Can't have that.... Just more fear card rhetoric in order to protect and expand corporate enterprise. A nice trial run, in the form of disease fear.

    Because of course, any kid laying home puking his guts out just wants to hop on the net and play WoW all day. 40% of them, no doubt.
