Poor little "Jug Ears" (leader of the free world) he's tired.

    News:
Barack Obama 'too tired' to give proper welcome to Gordon Brown
Barack Obama's offhand approach to Gordon Brown's Washington visit last week came about because the president was facing exhaustion over America's economic crisis and is unable to focus on foreign affairs, the Sunday Telegraph has been told.

If the economy exhausts poor Messiah imagine what a few Airliners slamming into tall buildings will do to him.

Some people were wondering before the election if in fact Obama had the physical constitution to carry the presidency. It's a very demanding job, physically, emotionally, spiritually. Bush aged a lot in those 8 years; Bubba even more so (hair turned white). Hillary, not even as pres, looks like she's aged 20 years in the past 24 months. Some people simply don't have enough gravitas to do the job, and Obama may be one. He's already skinny, so it's easy to see him getting exhausted.

That's all we need: Obama croaks and we get Joe "Pennsylvania" Biden, aka "The Mouth", as the replacement. We be screwed.

Wow, a President who is working hard and is engaged in the business of the country - - what a concept.

Maybe he should take more naps like the guy before him?

    Nah.

Apparently the London papers were ablaze with outrage about the way Brown was treated and regarding the gifts exchanged between the two. Brown brought valued gifts, rare and first-edition stuff, things historically treasured etc. In turn Obama gave Brown 25 DVD's, none of which were formatted for viewing in the UK lol. WTF is up with that? PLUS Obama gave Brown the bust that was given to the US in the wake of 9/11:cool:

Some of these stories are odd to say the least, especially considering the UK is our staunchest ally. There was another link in the article saying Obama's set to meet with the Queen next month.

At least any gifts exchanged would be inscribed in the same language:p

Problem is shmessy, he isn't doing his job, no state dinner for the British PM for example. He flubbed diplomacy 101 on this visit. I would note that his exhaustion hasn't interfered with his Wed parties at the WH for celebs...

Wot!! He's still having those parties???? Look no further for the cause of his "exhaustion". At this rate he's going to burn out within a year.

    Watch this space...

Yeah I read about that DVD thing, a little embarrassing treating our closest ally like that. Not a huge deal but I winced when I read it.

Sounds like something a Congressman would do for a colleague across the aisle, not what a head of state would do for another head of state. Particularly a "close ally". Very lame, immature.

Also Clinton had her own gift giving mishap in Russia, she gave a foreign minister what was supposed to be a "reset" button as a joke alluding to Biden calling for a reset of US-Russian relations, but the russian translation of "reset" was wrong. Instead it said "overcharged." That wasn't embarrassing, just funny.
