Who has since moved on to become a political analyst for Fox News who believes that lower taxes would be a successful Democratic strategy, opposed President Obama's Affordable Care Act, warned the Democratic Party to reject the Occupy Wall Street protest, and recommended that President Obama not run for reelection in 2012.

Douglas Schoen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hardly biased at all, is he?

A pollster trying to advance conclusions from a sample of 200 participants? Wow. Fascinating stuff. And from legendary concern troll Doug Schoen, no less.

I wonder what Mark Penn thinks. Can you find out, PF13?

There are only a few hundred people there.......so that was a large sample of attendees.

The reulsts aren't surprising given that they are endorsed by the CPUSA, American Nazi (they like the antisemitism directed towards the "jew bankers").

I gotta wonder, 13, just how accurate this is for various reasons.

    1) It's got too much potential for bias. There was one woman doing the interiview/questioning - did she pick the lady in the dress walking with the baby stroller or did she pick the 20 year old with the green hair, the nose ring and the sign that said, "F<CK U?"

    2) According to the story one woman interviewed and questioned "nearly 200 people" in two days. How come it's "nearly?" Why don't they have the exact number? How do you figure a percentage if you don't have a total number? "Nearly" is not a number. You cannot get a percentage of "nearly."

    3) If one person interviewed "nearly" 200 people in 2 days that means she had to, if working a 10 hour day, give each person a total of 6 minutes to answer all of her questions - and I count at least 10 questions which were asked from the article. That means each respondent had less than 36seconds in which to hear the question, respond to the question and have their answer recorded.

Excuse me while I turn my head and politely clear my throat in disbelief.

    Need to see the methodology.

Also, what's wrong with civil disobedience? Far better than violence.

It is not the number it is who is selected and the method for doing such... thought you understood the scientific method????

To your credit, pf, you titled the thread properly: Poll of OWS radicals.

I wonder if a pollster went to the deep south in the early days of the Tea Party and hand selected 200 Tea Partiers radicals would we have found similar radicalism? After all, a poll of radicals should result in some radical results.

Now, when there's a fair-minded poll of OWS supporters, not radicals, I think we'll see different results especially on the question of violence. The people I know (and I know quite a few) who attended OWS events would not support violence.

You define a group based on who endorses them? You can't be serious! OWS demonstrators are anti-Semitic because they oppose the criminal practices of bankers?

    Stop!

    You're killing me!

Only when it's convenient for him, wistah. Only when it's convenient.

(I've actually come to hope that 13 is just playing a role here, like "harry" likely is.)

Curious, con mod: What is it you take exception to? Their message, or their tactics?

If you have a problem with their message, you must have great affection for the way Wall St. conducts business the past three decades. How do you justify such blatant economic terrorism, where banks bet on their own investments to fail, often at the expense of Tea Partiers' pension. Try not to dance around this direct challenge this time.

If your tactic is to pretend anyone left of you is a commie or terrorist, then we can safely assume you support the Wall St. mafia.

That's why civil disobedience is nothing to be frowned upon.

    This.
I have a feeling things are going to get ugly down there and not because of the peaceful, sincere, REAL people who have REAL concerns; those people have been hijacked and infiltrated by some very powerful groups and factions who have no problem with violence. And the NYPD is more than ready for it.

When TSHTF we'll see what Bloomberg does-if he orders them to vacate or lets them hang around longer. I know people who work and/or live in Lower Manhattan, some are planning to leave the city or at least make a plan just in case they need to leave.

Someone somewhere is going to start something down there, just a matter of time and when it does start look out.
