Poll: Obama leads Romney by 9%.

    Looks good for Obama.

July 20, 2009: Tested in hypothetical contests against some possible 2012 GOP opponents Obama still maintains leads similar to what he won in the popular vote against John McCain last fall. He has a nine point lead against Mitt Romney, eight point ones against Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin, and a six point one against Mike Huckabee.

I posted a link last week of the final polls before the election and Rasmussen was just barely more to McCain than the average. Your consistent hope that Rasmussen is way off to the right is wrong, not that anyone can tell which polls are "right".

Although I did like this in your poll :

Would you describe yourself as a liberal,
moderate, or conservative? If liberal, press 1. If
moderate, press 2. If conservative, press 3.
    Liberal ............................................................. 18%
    Moderate......................................................... 43%
    Conservative................................................... 39%

Once people start associating Republicans with being Conservative again, everything will be fine.

The opening line of the PPP poll:

    "Obama approval continues to fall

Raleigh, N.C. – Public Policy Polling’s monthly national survey finds Barack Obama’s approval rating dropping to 50%, continuing a gradual decline in his numbers over the last two months."

    Sounds right to me.
