So it turns out DeVille called a top official at Citigroup to lobby in favor or Ameriquest Mortgage. You know Ameriquest... they're one of those mortgage companies that fleeces people with poor credit. Oh, but we're supposed to believe that DeVille made the call while "not in his role as governor." Now that may fool the moronic liberals that voted him into office, but the rest of us are just going to roll our eyes. I can just see some secretary at Citigroup saying to her boss... "Mr. Rubin..? You have a call from Governor Patrick on line 2. But he's not calling as the Governor so there's nothing to worry about and you don't need to feel pressured to listen to him." Gimme a break.
