Arrests at the inauguration --- zero!

    Over 2 million people.

Thousands traveled for hours or days and spent hundreds or thousands of their own money to attend. Had a ticket. Waited hours in the freezing cold to get in to the purple area. Was there a riot? NO!

    Kudos to the crowd.

closest i can think of is Patriots-Colts game i saw around 1990. Must have been 40,000 people there between the fans, players, and coaches.

    Not one hit all day!!!!!!

It was a great day with a great crowd.

However, I cannot help but state for the record that it doesn't mean thousands of crimes didn't happen there - - all it means is that there were no "arrests".

Methinks at least a few pickpockets had a field day.

I'll bet there were a couple of whiffs of ganja here and there...at least I would hope so.
Might explain the lack of violins...but then again, wasn't Yitsak Pearlman there?

Cue Giuliani lobbying for legislation to restrict crowd size in the Mall.

There were regrettably random acts of violins, but as for sax, nobody's had that since Clinton left.
