I was thinking...There were sooo many plays last night which we didnt execute or made bad decisions which cost us the game. Just offhand...

1. Leon Washington kick return
2. Watson's fumble
3. Cassel's overthrow to Moss
4. Going for it on 4th and 3 in the 1st half
5. Blown coverage on 3rd and 15 in OT

im sure there are others too.

we have to execute better from here on out or we will miss the playoffs

you forgot the missed snap between koppen and cassel that last 35 yards, when we were clearly going to get points

Game was winnable until the 3rd and 15 play in OT, Stop that play Jet's punt from deep in their end. Pats probably get short field to work with. Gain 20 to 25 yards and we are kicking the winning FG.

that 3rd down conversion was the game breaker

3rd down conversions killed them all night long. The OT 3 & 15 was really painful though.

These what-if threads are painful. No offense.

Here's a critical one, that stupid fullback dive that NEVER WORKS, EVER ! on a critical 3rd and one, then makes it 4th and 5 after a freakin 4-yard loss and Cassel can't continue that critical drive in the 3rd quarter. Note to Josh McDaniels, LET'S LOSE THAT BRUTAL HEATH EVANS FULL BACK DIVE, it never works! and is and always has been a waste of a down. How bout getting creative Josh on that play with a roll-out, boot leg something short, let Matt make a play, that was a critical drive that got doused.........

I'm confused as to why the Pats just didn't put a man on the TE at the line...I mean, how many times were they going to see Favre throw to him in key situations before they changed what they were doing?
