There has been a lot of talk over the past few weeks about why players like Brady are still on the field in the fourth quarter in a game the Pats are clearly going to win. The counter to that argument is that you want players getting used to playing sixty minutes because not every game is going to be easy.

So does a narrow win like this justify the idea of playing until every last whistle, even in games that are in the bag?

There's a lot that went wrong in the game, but in the end Brady led the offense to the endzone and Asaunte made some plays. Hard to know what to take out of such a weird win, but hey, it's a win. :singing:

I feel the same way about the game. It's a long season and we are bound to have a tough one or two along the way. As long as we CRUSH the Jets on 12/16, no 3 point victory will upset me.

It is justified. Opposing teams will not give up when the game is out of reach, so why should the Pats let up. The Eagles sure didn't tonight.

I think the defense was most of the problem, letting the Eagles march right down the field whenever they had the ball

Its justified. Teams should always play till the clock reads 00:00. Tonight shouwed everyone that. If anyone on the team took just a second off in the game The Pats would be 10-1. You play everyone the whole game until its over plain and simple.
