I'm not sure what my own answer to this question would be, but I think it makes sense to ask it:
What would you have said if the Pats had, rather than franchise Adam in 2005, cut him and signed Robbie Gould instead? [This would definitely have saved the Pats about $2M or so last season, and, maybe, kept him out of Indy now.]
