Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I have a question regarding home field...

I remember the chaos in 05 when the Pats won the division but had a 19-6 record and hosted the Jags who were wild card winners with a 12-4 record. This year the same thing happening with Pitts/Jags

People were pissed off that the Pats got to host a game in which the record wasn't superior then the opponent.

I thought they changed this rule that year, that the team with the better record hosted the game, regardless of seeding.

Now obviously it's early, but I have yet to hear anyone bring this up in the media as a negative thing on a franchise (steelers) even if it's not in their control.

Just for the fact that teams play in their division 6 times, I think they should keep it the way it is.
I understand the gripe, and when everyone in the media was predicting the AFC West winner to be 8-8, I thought it would be crazy for them to host a playoff game, but that's the breaks.
